
Gilda’s Gathering: WJLA-Channel 7 entertainment reporter Arch Campbell busted out the penguin suit Feb. 9 to host Gilda’s Scarlet Ball at the Willard InterContinental, a benefit for Gilda’s Club Greater Washington, a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering social interaction and support for people whose lives have been affected by cancer. The organization, named for the late comedian Gilda Radner, is raising funds to build a facility in Washington. The more than 120 guests included Lori DiCesare, board chairwoman and president of Legal Placements Inc., left, and Washington first lady Michelle Cross Fenty, who was honored for her work with the Capital Breast Cancer Center.
